What XMRPool is

XMRPool is software: a browser wallet for Monero, a service that collects timelock-encrypted orders and clears them in public batches, and a smart contract for atomic swaps between XMR and ETH. By using the site or the software you accept these terms.

Not a broker, not custody

XMRPool does not hold your funds, does not hold your keys and does not act as a broker, exchange operator, counterparty or adviser. Batches publish matches; settlement happens between the two parties through the swap contract and the Monero network. Nothing on the site is investment, legal or tax advice.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your seed and passphrase safe. We cannot recover a wallet, reset a passphrase or reverse a transaction.
• Check addresses, amounts and proofs before you lock or send anything.
• Follow the laws that apply to you, including tax rules and any restrictions on privacy coins where you live. Do not use XMRPool if it is unlawful for you.
• Never put personal data in an order. Orders become public after their batch closes.

Alpha software

The protocol is new and unaudited. Orders are capped at 5 XMR and the contract caps each swap while in alpha. Parts of the swap flow are not yet live; the app says which. Bugs, network failures, node failures, chain reorganisations or a fault in drand could cause delays or loss. Use amounts you can afford to lose.

Fees

The swap contract keeps 0.3% of the ETH leg of a claimed swap, or 0.1% where the holder discount applies. Network fees go to the Monero and Robinhood Chain networks.

Third parties

The wallet talks to Monero nodes you choose, sealing depends on the drand network, and the reference price comes from CoinGecko. XMRPool is not affiliated with, endorsed by or responsible for the Monero project, drand, the League of Entropy, Robinhood, CoinGecko or any node operator. Their names and marks belong to their owners.

No warranty, limited liability

The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the operators of XMRPool are not liable for any loss of funds, profits or data arising from the use of the site, the software or the contract.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.
